Frequently Asked Questions

Do We Hang Christmas Lights?

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and for many people getting on the roofline is not feasible. We want to take the stress, probably fears of heights away from our clients so that they can enjoy the holiday season with their loved ones stress and worry free.

What Are The Hidden Charges?
We have no hidden charges. The quote you received at your initial consultation is the price you pay. If other services are requested at the time of service, we will gladly give you a quote for that additional service.

We will be happy to provide you with Christmas light installation pricing on trees, rooftops, shrubs, walkways, pillars, wreaths hanging etc.

Will you remove my lights as well as install them?
Absolutely. Your quote is inclusive of installation and take down. We are dedicated to provide you with the best service in a professional and timely manner. Removals generally begin the first week in January.

We remove lights on a geographical basis for quick removal for everyone. We will text you a day before removal to let you know we will be on your property, simply leave your storage bin on the porch, and we will store all lights in them.

Do I Need To Hire An Electrician?
The quick answer is no. With the invention of LED lights, the amount of power needed to light up all your Christmas lights is very minimal. However, larger installations that require extra power or if there are no accessible power on the outside of the home then it may be necessary to hire a license electrician.

FYI: The commercial grade LED C7 or C9 lights with 18 gauge green wire can connects up to 1,000 feet of lights or up to 960 watts to one power outlet.

When should I schedule my Christmas light installation?
To ensure you get on the holiday schedule and have your lights up at a time that best suit you, its best to contact us by early September.

How are we different from the other guys? What is the cost for our service?
We believe our clients should have options. Other companies will only install Christmas lights that they either lease or sell you.

At Assembly Master we will install your lights as long as they are commercial grade. We have commercial grade lights we can sell you if needed, however we do not store your lights because it's not cost effective for you as the customer.

What happens if I have a problem with my lights?
Our policy is that you plug your lights immediately the night of installation to ensure all your bulbs are light up. We ask that you take a picture of your lights all light up and text us within 48 hours after installation at 704-579-2505. If within that 48 hours post installation you have any issues (i.e. you have more than 5 bulbs not lighting), we will come out trouble shoot it or change out the bulbs free of charge.

Of note, if your lights completely stop working in the middle of the season, we can quote you at a discount rate for reinstallation. We will take all the necessary measures to assist you and help you enjoy your holiday lights. Please note the service we provide is installation and take down services.

The longevity of your lights depends on the quality of lights you have purchased, if they stop working it is most likely related to the lights itself and not the
installation.
